Internal Audit Team 2006-2007

Thanks to Tai (MC), Tnelle (ED-my Alberta buddy), Vakul (QN), and Bianca (OT); It was a great day and here’s to a great year ahead!

Trip Highlights:

- Auditing! OK, so for most people its maybe not the most interesting topic, but hey, somebody has got to do it and it is not as bad as one would think (Special Thanks for Yoori (exVPF TO) for putting up with 4 auditors in an intense 4 hours, if there is a proper way to do finance it’s her way)

- Views of Toronto: Atop the roof of Juan and Dennis’ apartment is a hidden treasure in that it showcases one of the best views of Toronto. Awe struck... (Thanks to Juan, our gracious 2 am Toronto tour guide)

- Making my mark: Placing a handprint on the infamous hand wall along the staircase at the MC house …

- Mobbed in a Park (Not really): Tai, caught up in her finance moment had the ‘brilliant’ idea of wanting for us to scream at the top of our lungs the finance cheer. All well and good, mainly if we wanted to get robbed somewhere along the way especially given that we claimed that we had "money and cash" and if the sketchy people in the deserted & dark park (at the base of the CN Tower) wanted some that they would need to “kiss our ass”… we vetoed that idea -quick.

- Westjet: on the way home, interestingly enough I was on the same flight as Clive Beddoe (the President and CEO of Westjet) … It’s not everyday that you are on the same flight with the CEO of the airline you are flying on…

So watch out AIESEC Canada ... the audit team is coming to a local near YOU ...
